ZAGREB, Feb 29 (Hina) - Koncar Electrical Locomotives (KEL), a Croatian joint stock company, on Thursday officially handed a repaired locomotive over to the Bosnia-Herzegovina Railways. This was done in compliance with an agreement of last December on the repair of three locomotives which cost DEM 1,970,000. The test drive from Zagreb to Koprivnica and back proceeded well. #L# The handover ceremony took place in the Zagreb Koncar factory facilities. The Bosnian Ambassador to Croatia, Kasim Trnka, the director of the Bosnian railways, Nedjad Brankovic, the Croatian Railways management headed by director Marijan Klaric and KEL representatives headed by director Davor Poljak, were present at the ceremony. The locomotive will be transported to its destination in parts because the railway to Zenica had been ruined during the war. After today's handover, the locomotive will be dismantled and transported in special army vehicles to its destination where it will be put together and set under way on the Visoko-Zenica-Maglaj railway. Stressing that Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have great interest in the development of bilateral relations, Trnka said that the signing of a protocol on the origin of goods would mean the import of goods from one country to the other without it going through customs. Trnka announced a future meeting of delegations from both countries which is to take place in Sarajevo, when agreements are to be signed on road and railway transport, letting of a section of the Ploce port to Bosnia and the protection of investments. Stressing his good cooperation with his Bosnian counterparts, Klaric said that croatia was interested in opening a Ploce- Sarajevo-Samac-Djakovo-Beli Manastir railway. (hina) lm 291734 MET feb 96
