"We came to see how our organization could improve its
cooperation with Croatia and to discuss the establishment of a
long-term mission in Croatia which would be in charge of issues
relating to the peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danubian
area, the return of Croat and Serb refugees and human rights and
freedoms," Sica said.
He also stressed that the OSCE was ready to open its
office in the area, in Vukovar if possible.
The OSCE and European Council delegation will also visit
Vukovar on Friday.
