Albania had always supported the territorial integrity and
sovereignty of the Republic of Croatia, Granic told reporters.
Both countries also supported the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, he added.
The two ministers also discussed the Kosovo issue. The
Albanian foreign minister asked for support from Minister Granic as
regards the problem of Kosovo Albanians.
'The problem of Kosovo is very dangerous because if the
conflict in former Yugoslavia spills over to Kosovo, the whole
region would flare up. Without an acceptable solution for Kosovo,
there can no lasting peace nor final solution to the crisis',
Serreqi said.
Economic exchange between Croatia and Albania was not
sufficient, but there were some signs that it was improving, Granic
said, adding that the Croatian oil company INA had received
concession for oil research in Albania.
