BIHAC, Feb 11 (Hina) - After his yesterday's visit to Banja Luka refugees in Vojnic and Vrginmost, the Banja Luka Bishop Franjo Komarica visited Bihac, western Bosnia. He was welcomed by many members of the Bihac parish and Croats
from Bihac and the nearby Croat villages destroyed in the Serb aggression - Mali Skocaj, Veliki Skocaj, Zavalje, Zegar and Vedro Polje.
BIHAC, Feb 11 (Hina) - After his yesterday's visit to Banja Luka
refugees in Vojnic and Vrginmost, the Banja Luka Bishop Franjo
Komarica visited Bihac, western Bosnia. He was welcomed by many
members of the Bihac parish and Croats from Bihac and the nearby
Croat villages destroyed in the Serb aggression - Mali Skocaj,
Veliki Skocaj, Zavalje, Zegar and Vedro Polje. #L#
Bishop Komarica held a solemn mass in the Church of St Antony
of Padua in the town centre. Several hundred parishioners attended
the mass.
Present at the mass were also Ambassador in the Croatian
Foreign Ministry, Bernardo Jurlina, Consul-Advisor in the Bihac
Office for Consular Days, Kresimir Alaric, President of the
Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) in Bihac, Drago Mazar and Croatian
Defence Council (HVO) commander for Bihac, Ivan Prsa, as well as
representatives of the Swiss Caritas, who are helping the
reconstruction of Golubic, a village near Bihac.
