Izetbegovic warned that it was not only the organisation of
the city that caused concern. 'Basic human rights, freedom of
movement and political activity as well as the right to private
property are suspended in the western part of Mostar', the
statement said.
'Those who attacked the headquarters of the EU Administration
of Mostar two days ago are advocating the division of the city and
the maintenance of an unnatural, unjust situation'.
'We were ready for certain concessions and we were making
concessions in order to avoid conflicts, but now we have a much
more serious situation where we have to decide whether to allow the
crime to be legalised and continued or not', Izetbegovic's letter
said.
