ODZAK, Feb 9 (Hina) - Bosnian Croat policemen yesterday arrived in
the Odzak municipality in northern Bosnia, which is to be returned
to the Bosnian Federation under the Dayton Agreement.
According to the Croatian TV, civilians will be able to return
in a few days, as soon as the ground is cleared of mines.
The only way to reach Odzak, which is surrounded by Serb-held
territory, is from Croatia, by crossing the Sava River by ferry at
Svilaj.
The Croatian army and IFOR representatives yesterday cleared
the banks of the Sava River of mines and begun the preparations for
building a ferry for the use of civilians returning to Odzak.
