MOSTAR, Jan 24 (Hina) - Following separate meetings between
Mostar's EU Administrator, Hans Koschnik, and Croat and Moslem
representatives on Tuesday, the Administration felt it unlikely
that the two sides would find a solution for Mostar by mutual
agreement, spokesman for the EU Administration, Dragan Gasic, told
Hina on Wednesday.
The meeting discussed municipality boundaries and the
establishment of a central zone.
Administrator Koschnik would therefore be called upon to
pronounce on the issue, Gasic said.
However, Koschnik needed "some more time to collect further
information," according to Gasic.
He announced that the decision would be made known after
Koschnik's return from a meeting with EU Foreign Ministers, which
is to take place in Brussels next Monday.
