SARAJEVO, Jan 19 (Hina) - Representatives of the Bosnian Government and Bosnian Serbs accompanied POWs to the Sarajevan airport late Friday. Under the Dayton Accord, the detainees are to be released the tonight at midnight. By 7.00 pm, the release was no yet completed. #L# A spokesman for the International Red Cross in Sarajevo, Jacques De Majo, stated that the Serbs brought 67 POWs to the airport and the Bosnians 30. He added that the arrival of newly released detainees was expected during the evening. In this case, the International Red Cross is only overlooking the process of the POWs' release. Majo warned that the deadline would most probably not be kept. Even if all detainees waiting to be set free at the airport are released, there are still 750 people who are being held in Moslem, Serb and Croat prisons in Bosnia, who should have been released by Friday. Judging by the situation, the first 30-day time limit for the release of all detainees, set by the Dayton Agreement, will be broken. (hina) mm lm 192107 MET jan 96
