VITEZ, Jan 12 (Hina) - A group of 250 combatants from Islamic
countries left Zenica for Bihac this afternoon, escorted by Bosnian
army forces, the Vitez-based HVO (Croatian Defence Council)
commander Drago Dragicevic told Hina on Friday.
This is the first group of "Mujahideens", who fought in the
Bosnian war on the side of Government troops, to leave the country
in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement. The deadline
prescribed for foreign troops to leave Bosnia is the 14th of
January.
While crossing the HVO-controlled territory, the Mujahideens
will be escorted by HVO forces.
