OKUCANI, Jan 18 (Hina) - A vanguard group of around 70 Hungarian
engineering troops arrived on Thursday in the Croatian town of
Okucani, 100 kilometers east of Zagreb.
The troops, within the NATO-led Implementation Force (IFOR)
framework, were to construct another pontoon bridge over the Sava
river between the towns of Stara Gradiska, in Croatia, and Bosanska
Gradiska, in Bosnia.
The bridge would be used by NATO for deployment of troops in
Bosnia.
The Hungarian engineering troops, 415 of them in total, would
be based near Okucani.
