PRISTINA, Dec 10 (Hina) - The Kosovo Committee on Human Rights said
in a statement on Wednesday that 34 Albanians had been killed in
Yugoslavia's southern Kosovo province this year.
Citing various cases, the statement said that four people died as a
result of police torture, ten were shot dead under unexplained
circumstances, eight were killed by Serbian police, while three
were killed without warning by Yugoslav border troops.
The committee said that the human rights of 4,392 Albanians had been
violated this year.
