BONN, Dec 9 (Hina) - Members of the Bosnian Presidency on Tuesday
reached an agreement concerning laws on citizenship, passports and
the Council of Ministers, German Foreign Minister Klaus Kinkel said
in Bonn yesterday.
Speaking at the close of the first day of a session the council for
the implementation of peace is holding in Bonn, Kinkel said that
Presidency members Alija Izetbegovic, Kresimir Zubak and Momcilo
Krajisnik had given written guarantees that laws on citizenship,
passports and on the Bosnian Council of Ministers would be passed by
the Bosnian parliamentary assembly.
The agreement the three Bosnian sides reached on the establishment
of three joint Bosnian institutions is the first concrete result of
a two-day conference of the Council for the Implementation of the
Dayton Peace Agreement.
Opening the conference, Kinkel said the minimum expected was the
reaching of an agreement on laws on citizenship and passports, on
the Council of Ministers, a common currency, and common licence
plates.
Speaking about these joint institutions, the German foreign
minister said he expected that the representatives of Bosnia's
three peoples had not come to the conference empty-handed.
