ZAGREB, Dec 5 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament Speaker Vlatko Pavletic
on Friday received the incoming ambassadors of Albania, Miriam
Bisha, and Rumania, Constantin Ghirda.
Pavletic and Bisha pointed out Croatia's connections with Albania
through mutual international interests, friendship and mutual wish
for strengthening political, economic and cultural relations.
The Albanian minority in Croatia represented a bond for
cooperation, they stressed.
Pavletic and Ghirda discussed the situation in the Croatian Danube
river region, Bosnia-Herzegovina and other countries of
southeastern Europe, marked with several crisis points, which,
they stressed, bound Croatia and Rumania with commitments to act
towards establishing peace and democracy.
