MOSTAR, 4 Nov (Hina) - At a session held in Mostar on Tuesday, the
Government of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina decided that
four federation ministries, which according to the Dayton
agreement should be based in Mostar, would be relocated to Mostar
from Sarajevo by 1 December this year at the latest.
The relocation of the ministries of energy, transport, trade and
education to Mostar would be one of the major steps forward in the
establishment of the Federation, said the President of the
Federation Government, Edhem Bicakcic, adding that the current
offices of the four ministries in Sarajevo would be closed on 1
December this year 'with police assistance if necessary'.
The Federation Government today approved DM 33 million for pension
and disability insurance of the Federation army members, as well as
a bill on the recognition of all public documents in legal traffic
on the Federation territory, issued by the administrative and legal
bodies and other authorised institutions between 6 May 1992, the
day the Serb shelling of Sarajevo began, and 14 October 1997, one
month after the municipal elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Federation Government also adopted several bills at today's
session.
