ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Seven senior and two junior Croatian army
officers on Sunday departed from Zagreb for education in Turkey, in
line with a recent bilateral agreement on military cooperation
between Croatia and Turkey.
This is the first class of officers to be educated in Turkey, since
previous classes received education in the United States, France
and Italy, captain Sendi Radic told reporters at Zagreb's Pleso
airport speaking on behalf of the Croatian Defense Ministry's
Personal Administration.
The nine senior and junior officers will first spend eight months
learning Turkish, to be followed by advanced training, which may
last up to 54 weeks.
