OWNER OF EXPLODED TANKER ARRESTED IN SLOVENIA

( Vidi vijest: 5677 ) ZAGREB, Oct 24 (Hina)- Director of the "Rijeka-Nafta" shipping company, Cedomir Blaskovic, was arrested in Slovenia, Croatian television reported Friday. The Interpol office in Zagreb issued a warrant for the arrest of Blaskovic, at the order of the county investigative judge in Split. Blaskovic was apprehended by the Slovene police at 01.35 hours Friday. Blaskovic is the owner of the tanker "Tomislavgrad" which had exploded in Italy's Solin harbour, killing a crew member. The Croatian Justice Ministry is to forward a request for Blaskovic's extradition to the Split county court, the Croatian television said. (hina) lm 242225 MET oct 97
