VUKOVAR, Oct 23 (Hina) - The Vukovar City Council on Thursday held a
session, after two postponements.
Deputy Chairman of the National Committee for the realisation of
the Croatian government Trust Establishment Programme, Ivica
Vrkic, announced at the session that him and Vukovar's mayor,
Vladimir Stengl, are to move to the city on Monday, 27 October.
The City Council reached decisions about municipal tax,
concessions for public utility services and the necessity to
incorporate constructed premises into the public utility
infrastructure system.
The session was also attended by member of the Croatian Parliament
and president of the Serb Democratic Independent Party (SDSS),
Vukovar-Srijem County Prefect, Rudolf Koenig, and member of the
National Committee for the implementation of the Trust
Establishment Programme and aide to the Administration Minister,
Mirko Tankosic.
In the room where the session was held, hoisted were flags of
Croatia, UN and of the Serb, Ukrainian, Hungarian and Slovakian
national minorities.
