HDZ SWISS BRANCH WANTS TO RECONSTRUCT BUILDING IN VUKOVAR

( Vidi vijest: 4911 ) ZAGREB, Oct 22 (Hina) - Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic on Wednesday held talks with a Croatian emigrants' delegation on the reconstruction of Vukovar, a town in the Danube river region of eastern Croatia. The delegation of the Swiss branch of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union Party (HDZ), headed by Vinko Sablja, is willing to finance the reconstruction of one public building in Vukovar. They wish the reconstructed building to be used primarily by Croatian defenders. The Swiss branch of the HDZ is also willing to join other Croatian organizations in the Diaspora in the reconstruction of another larger building. (hina) ha jn 221613 MET oct 97
