ZAGREB, 21 Oct (Hina) - The Association of Displaced People and
Refugees of Bosanska Posavina held a press conference in Zagreb on
Tuesday. The Association's President Mate Gogic called on the
international community to respect Annexes 6 and 7 of the Dayton
agreement (freedom of movement and return of all refugees to their
homes), thus enabling the return of displaced Posavina Croats and
Muslims to Bosanska Posavina. ž
The Association's vice president Zvonimir Zovko stressed that the
Sarajevo-based Commission for the Listing of Property should open
its office in Zagreb, as the largest part of the Posavina exiled
lived in Zagreb currently.
In the past five years, the Posavina exiled could not pay an
organised visit to their cemeteries for the All Saints' Day, and due
to the inefficiency of the international community it was unlikely
that they would be able to do it this year as well, said the
Association's representatives.
