JAJCE, Oct 13 (Hina) - Representatives of Bosnian Croats and Moslems
from Jajce and Bugojno (central Bosnia) respectively held a meeting
on Monday, at an initiative of Lars Johan Lonnback, an official of
the international High Representative's office.
Their talks in Jajce revolved round the return of refugees.
Insisting on the unconditional return of all refugees and
dislocated people to their homes, Jajce Croat representatives sought
the establishment of an information centre for Bugojno refugees,
such as the office opened in Jajce for offering information on the
return of refugees. They also demanded that Croats should take part
in the work of such office in Moslem-controlled Bugojno.
Croat representatives from Jajce warned that about 50 percent
of housing buildings had been destroyed and said that they received
insufficient help for the renovation of Croat-owned houses in Jajce.
They added that they had fulfilled all of their obligations so far
regarding the return of Moslems to this central Bosnian town under
the control of Croats.
Lonnback asked Bugojno Moslems to set up the information
centre and stressed the importance of cooperation among more Bosnian
municipal authorities for the return of refugees.
