During separate talks, Scheffers stressed to his hosts that
the Croatian government had in the past several days taken very
important steps leading in the right direction, not only by
fulfilling commitments, but also by creating conditions for the
country's access into western European integrations, for which
Croatia was qualified.
Scheffers added that the international community would
continue to observe closely further transitional processes in
Croatia.
The Dutch frigate will stay in Split until 13 October.
