ZAGREB, Oct 9 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Thursday reached a decision based on the Croatian Constitution, on the establishment of the National Committee for the Realisation of the Trust Establishment Programme,
Accelerated Return and Normalisation of Life in War-Ravaged Areas of Croatia, Tudjman's Office said in a statement.
ZAGREB, Oct 9 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Thursday
reached a decision based on the Croatian Constitution, on the
establishment of the National Committee for the Realisation of the
Trust Establishment Programme, Accelerated Return and Normalisation
of Life in War-Ravaged Areas of Croatia, Tudjman's Office said in a

The decision reads:
1.At the suggestion of the Croatian government, the National
Committee for the Realisation of the Trust Establishment Programme,
Accelerated Return and Normalisation of Life in War-Ravaged Areas of
the Republic of Croatia is established.
2.It is the task of the National Committee to observe the
realisation of goals of the Programme, such as the creation of a
general atmosphere of tolerance and safety, establishment of
equality and trust among all citizens of Croatia, the creation of
general social, political, security and economic preconditions for
the normalisation of life, organised return of refugees and
displaced Croatian citizens, the establishment of a democratic
society, the creation of a political framework for the
implementation of operative legal norms in war-ravaged areas of the
Republic of Croatia.
3.Vesna Skare Ozbolt, deputy Chief-of-Staff of the Croatian
President's Office, is nominated as president of the National
Committee.
Deputies to the president are:
- Ivica Vrkic, director of the Specific Real-estate Mediation
Agency,
- Vojislav Stanimirovic, MP at the Croatian Parliament's House
of Counties.
Members are:
- Dubravko Jelicic, MP at the Croatian Parliament's House of
Representatives and president of the Croatian Radio and Television
Council,
- Martin Katicic, MP at the Croatian Parliament's House of
Representatives,
- Milorad Pupovac, MP at the Croatian Parliament's House of
Representatives,
- Sandor Jakab, MP at the Croatian Parliament's House of
Representatives,
- Mato Simic, MP at the Croatian Parliament's House of
Counties,
- Josko Moric, Aide to the Croatian Interior Minister,
- Mirko Tankosic, Aide to the Croatian Administration
Minister,
- Ivan Krstanovicf, Aide to the Croatian Reconstruction and
Development Minister,
- Lovre Pejkovic, head of the Office for Refugees and
Displaced Persons.
4. As this decision takes effect, the decision on the
Establishment of State Commission for the Establishment of
Croatia's Constitutional and Legal Order in the Osijek-Baranja and
Vukovar-Srijem Counties, currently under UNTAES control, reached on
30 April 1997, becomes invalid.
5. The decision takes effect on the day of its conception.
