Horno. #L#
The two officials discussed the military cooperation between
the two countries.
Cosic stressed the development of the navy and coast guard as
areas of possible cooperation between Croatia and Spain. Spain's
navy and coast guard are known for their exceptional experience, he
said.
Croatia is a Mediterranean country as well, seeking for ways
to develop and modernize its navy and the system of coast guard,
with the aim of increasing the stability and safety of the coastal
area, Cosic said.
Spain plans to continue its excellent cooperation with Croatia
by widening their cooperation into the area of defence. The
appointment of the first military attache to Croatia is part of that
plan, Horno said.
Cosic and Horno announced the possibility of mutual visits of
Croatian and Spanish military delegations at the level of their
defence ministries and the two armies' headquarters.
