SPECIAL OBSERVANCE HELD ON THE EVE OF NEW ZAGREB ARCHBISHOP'S INAUGURA

INAUGURA $ TION ZAGREB, Oct 3 (Hina) - A solemn observance was held in the Zagreb cathedral on Friday evening on the occasion of Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic's inauguration. The former Zagreb Archbishop, Cardinal Franjo Kuharic, who is retiring, thanked all those who worked with him, shared the responsibility and cares in leading the Zagreb arch-diocese. He feels gratitude upon leaving the Zagreb Church to the new archbishop, he said. After the observance, Kuharic and Bozanic arranged a reception. In attendance were Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, high Croatian officials, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Croatia, representatives of other religious communities and numerous guests.
