MOSTAR, Sept 14 (Hina) - All of 70 polling stations in eastern and
western Mostar opened at 07.00 am on the second day of Bosnia local
elections, the OSCE regional office said on Sunday.
According to the same sources, the voting has been proceeding
with no difficulty this morning.
The Mostar city council will not consist of 27 councillors,
what was earlier envisaged, but it will include 24 members. Each if
city's six municipalities will choose four councillors for the
council.
Eligible voters living in the central zone of this southern
city will vote for councillors in any of the six municipalities.
Thus there would be no three councillors from the central zone.
Moslems and Croats will be represented by eight councillors
each in the city council and members of other ethnic groups can
elect eight councillors for that body as well.
