PORTOROZ, Sept (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa on Friday
addressed a two-day summit of prime ministers of Central European Free
Trade Agreement (CEFTA) countries, who convened in the Slovenian town
of Portoroz to discuss further liberalisation of trade in Central and Eastern
Europe.
Matesa said that the set parameters of Croatian economic growth
would enable Croatia's full integration into European institutions.
"Admission to CEFTA and the World Trade Organisation and
consequently full membership of the European Union are the Croatian
government's foreign policy priorities," he said.
Matesa noted that admission to some multilateral and economic
organisations was not always in conformity with the principles of which they
were founded.
