DUBROVNIK, Sept 8 (Hina) - A two-day event called "Days of the World
Heritage Cities" and "European Heritage Days" began in Dubrovnik on
Sunday when a Croatian deputy culture minister, Mario Kezic, opened an
exhibition of works of the UNESCO workshop in Konavle (the Dubrovnik
hinterland). The exhibition is staged in the "Lacroma" gallery in this
Croatian city placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Another exhibition called "Plantae Ragusinae", was opened also on
Sunday at Luza in Dubrovnik as part of this cultural event.
The exhibitions were organised by the institute for the restoration of
Dubrovnik and local authorities, supported by the culture ministry and the
state-run directorate for the protection of cultural and natural heritage of
Croatia.
