and UNESCO high official Bruno Carnez, bestowed onto them by the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman for their efforts in the promotion of Croatian culture and language in France.

Biskupic stressed that Carnez had been the member of the first
UNESCO delegation to visit Dubrovnik during the harshest Serb-
Montenegran army attacks on the city.
