perpetrators. The UN High Representative's Office harshly condemned the killing of two innocent people in Travnik this weekend. The victims were Croats who had recently returned to Travnik, all facts had not been established yet, and we expect the Bosnian Federation authorities to act immediately and make sure the incident stayed isolated and that an investigation be carried out to find the killers most quickly, Westendorp's spokesman Duncan Bullivant said in Sarajevo on Monday.

UN spokesman Liam McDowall confirmed that the International
Police Task Force (IPTF) had joined the investigation.
UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) spokeswoman Arriane
Quentier said the organisation also harshly condemned the killing of Luka
Jezercic and his son Pero.
She expressed hope that the killing of innocent people would not
jeopardise the implementation of the project of return of refugees to the
Central Bosnian Canton.
