to be taken to homes in other parts of Croatia. The convoy was
organised by the Croatian government Office for Refugees and
Displaced Persons, UNHCR and UNTAES's logistic support.

Coordinator of the Osijek Regional Office for Refugees and
Displaced Persons Damir Beceheli said 404 displaced persons in 13
convoys had so far returned to parts of Croatia from the Croatian
Danube river region.
Head of the UNHCR office for Croatia Robert Robinson said
Wednesday's convoy showed improving organisation skills of the
Croatian government and UNHCR in preparations for the return of
displaced persons and refugees, adding that all persons, whatever
their ethnic background, had the right to return to their homes.
