OSIJEK, Aug 27 (Hina) - The so far largest convoy of Serb refugees left eastern Croatia's UN-administered area on Wednesday to be taken to homes in other parts of Croatia. The convoy was organised by the Croatian government Office for Refugees and Displaced Persons, UNHCR and UNTAES's logistic support. Seven busses and several personal vehicles carried 203 persons towards Sisak, Karlovac, Korenica, Okucani and Daruvar.

Head of the UNHCR office for Croatia Robert Robinson said Wednesday's convoy showed improving organisation skills of the Croatian government and UNHCR in preparations for the return of displaced persons and refugees, adding that all persons, whatever their ethnic background, had the right to return to their homes.
