BUGOJNO CROATS DEMAND PRECISE RETURN DEADLINES

LIVNO, Aug 25 (Hina) - Croat representatives from the central Bosnian municipality of Bugojno on Monday forwarded a request to high international officials in Bosnia-Herzegovina and representatives of BH and the Federation of BH, asking that deadlines for the return of 16,000 displaced Croats from Bugojno be set. They also requested the removal of all who obstruct the process of return to BH, regardless of which people they belonged to. Bugojno Croats also requested that further mining of family houses in Bugojno be prevented, the delivery of a list of Croat family houses, used by Bosniak (Muslim) families who returned to Donji Vakuf and Jajce, which could be moved in, and the delivery of a list of other Croat-owned property to be given back to owners. Croats from Bugojno also requested that two school buildings be opened for the forthcoming school-year, the return of the Croatian Hall building, as well as the international community's assistance with construction material and money. According to a proposal of Bugojno Croats, the return- process could in the first phase begin with the villages of Golo Brod, Kandija, Gorusa, Vucipolje, Causlije, Curcic Lug, Kopcic and Udurlije. Representatives of Croats from Bugojno forwarded their requests to the international mediator for the Federation of BH, Christian Schwartz-Schilling, to UN's deputy high representative for the implementation of the Dayton Accord, Gerd Wagner, to members of the Presidency of BH, Kresimir Zubak and Alija Izetbegovic, to the president and the vice president of the Federation of BH, Vladimir Soljic and Ejup Ganic, and to officials of the Central Bosnia Canton.
