"Members of the OTP forensic team have been present at the site for
four weeks carrying out preliminary tasks," the statement said.
The forensic team numbers about 25 members, including
archaeologists, anthropologists, pathologists and logistic support personnel.
The mass grave in Brcko is related to an indictment issued against
two Bosnian Serbs, commanders of the Luka concentration camp - Goran
Jelisic, charged with genocide, and Ranko Cesic, charged with crimes
against humanity.
The exhumation would provide evidence of crimes in the indictment
which had taken place in 1992, and SFOR would provide a secure
environment for the exhumation team, the statement said.
