MOSTAR, 1 Aug (Hina) - The Croatian Defence Council (HVO), which
is part of the army of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, on
Friday completed the fulfilment of its obligations from the
second phase of the arms reduction process, Brigadier Ilija
Vincetic from the Verification Headquarters of the Federation

The reduction of weapons is in line with the agreement on
subregional arms control, which also envisages the establishment
of military balance in the subregion, Vincetic said.
The completion of all tasks from the second phase of arms
reduction in 'Bozan Simovic' barracks in Capljina, south of
Mostar, was also confirmed by a multi-national inspection which
includes three members from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia,
two members from Croatia, two from Republika Srpska and one
assistant from Germany and the Netherlands each.
