SARAJEVO, July 27 (Hina) - The commander in chief of the Stabilization Force,
General William Crouch, on Saturday demanded of Serb member at the Presidency +
of
Bosnia-Herzegovina Momcilo Krajisnik to undertake urgent measures for the
prevention of further incidents against members of NATO and representatives of
international organizations in the Bosnian Serb entity in BH, a statement from +
SFOR's
Sarajevo headquarters said.
During a Saturday meeting in Pale, Crouch told Krajisnik clearly that +
violence
must cease at once, the statement said, adding that Krajisnik assured him he +
would act
to that effect.
Crouch also warned Krajisnik about the attitude of the Pale +
authority-controlled
media in the Bosnian Serb entity which creates an atmosphere inciting +
incidents, the
SFOR statement said. SFOR's commander in chief requested of Krajisnik to make +
sure
that the media cease using fiery rhetoric, to which Krajisnik answered with a +
promise to
undertake measures to stop the media promotion against SFOR, the statement
concluded.
