'with additional security measures'. #L#
The Bosnian Serb radio in Pale, outside Sarajevo, reported this
morning that the decision had been made during last night's meeting
between Momcilo Krajisnik and members of the chief military council and
Republika Srpska army headquarters.
According to a representative of the Serb defence ministry, Drago
Kapetina, the decision was caused by yesterday's action in Prijedor,
which was carried out by SFOR soldiers with the aim of arresting war
crime suspects.
It is still unclear how the decision will affect the functioning
of central bodies of authority in Bosnia and Herzegovina and whether the
Bosnian Serbs will try to cause a crisis in the implementation of the
Dayton agreement, by not coming to joint sessions.
According to the same source, Krajisnik demanded from the Bosnian
Serb army commanders not to allow to be provoked by SFOR actions.
The Sarajevo press on Friday hailed yesterday's NATO action, aimed
at apprehending Simo Drljaca and Milan Kovacevic, accused of
participating in genocide against non-Serb population in Prijedor.
