Herzeg-Bosnia, Mate Boban. President of the Bosnian HDZ, Bozo Rajic, spoke about Boban's life's path at the service.
MOSTAR, July 9 (Hina) - A commemorative service was held in Mostar on
Wednesday in memory of the former president of the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ) of Bosnia-Herzegovina, founder of the Croat Community and
the Croat Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia, Mate Boban.
President of the Bosnian HDZ, Bozo Rajic, spoke about Boban's
life's path at the service. #L#
Present at the commemoration was a Croatian delegation consisting
of Croatian State Seal Keeper, Ivan Milas, Privatisation Minister Milan
Kovac, MP Vice Vukojevic and retired General Janko Bobetko.
The funeral is to take place in Boban's home village of Sovici,
near Grude, at 17.00 hours.
"To our party, to us who lived with him and lead heavy battles
alongside him, not only against the enemy, but, unfortunately, against
some of our people, Mate Boban was an unquestionable political and state
authority," Rajic said.
