SLOVAKIAN CONSTRUCTION MINISTER ON TWO-DAY VISIT TO CROATIA

ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic on Wednesday received Slovakian Construction Minister Jan Mraz, who had arrived for a two-day visit. Radic informed the guest about the reconstruction of houses, cultural monuments and churches, as well as about development projects on the construction of highways, tunnels and a Danube-Sava canal, the Reconstruction and Development Ministry said in a statement. Radic and Mraz discussed possibilities of Slovakian companies participating in the said projects. The two ministers exchanged experiences on ways of encouraging housing construction for the purpose of demographic recovery, since both countries are faced with the problem of a decreasing birthrate and the rapid ageing of the population.
