SHIP CARRYING WEAPONS FOR FEDERATION ARMY ENTERS PLOCE PORT

PLOCE, 26 July (Hina) - The Ukrainian commercial ship 'Valerian Zorin' carrying+ 659 tons of weapons from Turkey for the army of the Federation of + Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday entered Ploce port. The shipment consists of 11 tanks, 12 containers + with light weapons, ammunition, spare parts for tanks and other equipment. The shipment is part of the 'Equip and Train' program, which is being implemented by the United States in cooperation with other countries, in line + with the Dayton agreement. So far, this is the most important donation of the Turkish government to the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The ship is being unloaded and the weapons will be temporarily stored in port warehouses which are under control of the U.S. company MPRT, which is training Federation army soldiers.
