VUKOVAR, July 14 (Hina) - The reintegration of veterinary services in
the Croatian Danube region into the Croatian system has advanced and
will be completed formally in the near future, advisor to the Croatian
Premier, Ivan Majdak, said in Vukovar on Monday.
There are four veterinary services in the Croatian Danube region,
said Majdak, which will soon be fully reintegrated into the Croatian
system.
Cattle diseases which appeared during the war have been eliminated
successfully, he added.
According to the latest data by local vets in the Croatian Danube
region, in February this year there were 198 horses, 10,859 head of
cattle, 79,818 pigs, 13,890 sheep and 2,279 goats.
