BELGRADE, July 11 (Hina) - The Government of the Federal Republic of
Yugoslavia on Friday accepted elements for negotiations and the signing
of an agreement with Croatia on international road and rail transport
across border crossings, the Yugoslavia's Federal Information
Secretariat said in a statement.
The agreement refers to transport of passengers and goods across
the temporarily set Bajakovo-Batrovci border crossing, and rail
transport control along the Sid-Tovarnik and Bogojevo-Erdut railroads.
The Yugoslav Government also accepted elements for talks to be held
during the fourth meeting of the joint Yugoslav-Croatian commission for
the implementation of Article Seven of the agreement on the
normalization of relations between Yugoslavia and Croatia (signed in
1996), which mostly refers to refugees and the exercising of their
rights.
