BELGRADE, 1 July (Hina) - Croatia's consul in Belgrade Neven Vrankovic,
on Tuesday told the Belgrade news agency Beta that all Yugoslav citizens

regardless of the fact that Croatian border officials are not on the
border yet. #L#
Vrankovic gave the same statement to the daily 'Vecernje novosti'.
He added that visas 'were necessary even earlier' and that nothing new
was being introduced.
First Croatian border officials would be on the border in a day or
two, Vrankovic said.
'It is indisputable that one has to have a visa if he is to enter
Croatia. I have heard that UNTAES has denied that, but it is not true.
The Danube river region is part of Croatia and visas are necessary if
one wants to enter the region,' Vrankovic said.
