MOSTAR, June 30 (Hina) - A Croatian government delegation headed by
Deputy Prime Minister Jure Radic arrived in the southern Bosnian town of
Mostar on Monday.
Radic told reporters that this year Croatia was planning to co-
finance the building of a thousand houses for Croat refugees returning
to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"We have to help the Croatian man survive on his soil and in his
country, Bosnia-Herzegovina," Radic said, noting that Croatia was the
biggest donor in the postwar reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Radic supported efforts to establish economic links between
southern areas of Bosnia-Herzegovina, from Stolac to Drvar, and Croatia.
The Croatian delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Borislav
Skegro, Privatisation Minister Milan Kovac, Deputy Defence Minister
Kresimir Cosic and National Pension and Disability Insurance Fund
Director Damir Zoric.
Later in the afternoon, the delegation visited Stolac and Capljina,
while visits to the southwestern towns of Kupres, Tomislavgrad, Glamoc,
Grahovo and Drvar were scheduled for Tuesday.
