BONN, March 20 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic arrived in
Bonn on Thursday for a two-day official visit.
Granic is scheduled to meet German Foreign Minister Klaus Kinkel on
Friday to discuss the Croatian-German relations, Croatia's relations with
the European Union, the process of reintegration of the UN-administered
Croatian Danube region and the implementation of the Dayton peace agreement.
The two ministers will sign a bilateral agreement on investment
promotion and protection which is seen as a very important institutional
framework for further strengthening the economic cooperation between Croatia
and its major business partner.
Granic is also expected to attend a reception in honour of the 70th
birthday of former German Foreign Minister Hans Dietrich Genscher, given by
Chancellor Helmut Kohl.
