ZAGREB, March 4 (Hina) - Croatian Minister of return and immigration Marijan
Petrovic and Agriculture Minister Zlatko Dominikovic on Tuesday held talks
on how to create conditions for Croatian emigrants who would like to engage
in agriculture and cattle breeding when they come back.
The talks revolved around the sale, lease, and allocation of state-
owned land, loans for agriculture projects as well as around the offering of
information to Croatian emigrants about possibilities of return to Croatian
villages and investment in agriculture, the Immigration Ministry said.
Minister Petrovic spoke of the interest of Croatian emigrants in
returning not only in Croatia's cities but also in villages and areas under
special state care.
He also pointed to the problems when a great deal of red-type is
involved at local levels when emigrants-returnees offer investment projects.
