VINKOVCI, Feb 3 (Hina) - Offices for issuing Croatian
documents remained closed on Monday in UNTAES-controlled
eastern Croatian villages of Bobota, Brsadin and Negoslavci,
for security reasons.
On Monday Vukovar-Srijem County administration office
staff went to work in other nine offices in the county's part
under UNTAES control, where they received more than 4,000
applications for Croatian documents in the last week.
They have received over 32,000 applications for Croatian
citizenship certificates so far and 11,000 for the birth
certificates. They have responded positively to 25,000
requests for citizenship certificates and to more than 8,000
for the birth certificate.
