SARAJEVO, Jan 11 (Hina) - U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, John
Kornblum, arrived in Sarajevo on Saturday evening for talks with
Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-member Presidency chairman, Alija
Izetbegovic.
Kornblum notified Izetbegovic of results of the recent
Brussels meeting of the Contact Group for Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Izetbegovic's office said in a statement.
They discussed further implementation of the Dayton Accords'
civilian provisions. They also considered forthcoming local
elections, realization of conclusions made by the Forum of
Federation as well as the cooperation with the International War
Criminal Tribunal.
On Sunday the U.S. diplomat is due to meet the Serb member of
the Bosnian Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik, at Pale, outside
Sarajevo.
