ZAGREB, DECEMBER 26 PRESIDENT TUDJMAN VISITS PARLIAMENT PRESIDENT AT HOSPITALZAGREB, Dec 26 (Hina)- President Franjo Tudjman visited on Saturday the president of the Croatian National Parliament, Vlatko Pavletic, at the Dubrava clinic
where he is being held for treatment. President Tudjman wished Pavletic a Merry Christmas and Pavletic replied he hoped that he would be able to attend the first parliamentary session in January 1999. Pavletic checked into the hospital on 7 December after a heart attack. According to the general manager of the hospital and head of the doctor's consultation, Dr. Vladimir Bozikov, Pavletic has undergone a dissolution of thrombus and is now recuperating without major difficulties. On Christmas Eve Pavletic was subjected to coronarography and the cardiological surgeons and the consultation will soon decide whether to perform a bypass surgery.
