ZAGREB, Dec 15 (Hina) - Croatia welcomes a recent decision by the +Yugoslav Government to approve the opening of a Croatian general +consulate in the Montenegrin town of Kotor, on the Adriatic coast, +the Croatian Foreign Ministry

Yugoslav Government to approve the opening of a Croatian general
consulate in the Montenegrin town of Kotor, on the Adriatic coast,
the Croatian Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday.
At a meeting held on August 18 this year, the Croatian and Yugoslav
Foreign Ministers Mate Granic and Zivadin Jovanovic agreed for the
two countries to open their consulates on the basis of
reciprocity.
In line with the agreement, the Croatian Government has given its
approval for the opening of a Yugoslav general consulate in
Vukovar, while the Yugoslav Government has approved the opening of
a Croatian consulate in Subotica, a town in the Yugoslav northern

Croatia also requested Yugoslavia's approval to open its consulate

entitled, if it wants so, to ask for approval to open another
general consulate on Croatia's territory.
