TUDJMAN WILL MEET SEPARATELY WITH OPPOSITION SIX AND OTHER PARTIES

ZAGREB, Nov 30 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman will hold separate meetings with the bloc of six Opposition parties ("the Opposition six") and representatives of other parliamentary parties, a high Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) official said on Monday. The sides would try and determine the time of the meeting during tomorrow's talks between representatives of the HDZ, the Opposition six and other Opposition parties, the head of the HDZ parliamentary bench, Vladimir Seks, told reporters ahead of today's session of the HDZ parliamentary bench. "It is true and it will probably happen that way - first a meeting and talks between the Opposition six, President Tudjman and the HDZ, and then talks with representatives of all other Opposition parties in the Croatian National Sabor", said Seks. The talks will tackle two topics. The first one concerns ways and forms of organising a parliamentary discussion on the activities of security services in protecting the constitutional order and state security and human and civil rights and freedoms, while the second concerns the exchange of standpoints and opinions regarding the election legislation, Seks said.
