ZAGREB, Nov 24 (Hina) - NATO's exercise in Slovenia is of an assault
character and its aim is to demonstrate the instruments of military
pressure on countries in the region which are in the south European
wing of NATO's expansion to the east, a Croatian Defence Ministry
newspaper, "Hrvatski Vojnik" (Croatian Soldier), said on Tuesday.
The aim of the said military pressure is to put stress on the
regional approach to the Southeast European Cooperative Initiative
and its connection with southern and southeastern Europe and
problems in the Mediterranean, the newspaper said.
"Hrvatski Vojnik" warns that in conquering power, the United States
uses direct and indirect means.
If a specific country's valid laws are not compliant with U.S.
interests, then, according to the newspaper, certain political
structures from that country's opposition are engaged to take over
through subversive political activities the elected democratic
authority on behalf of their colonial master.
By losing state, national, economic, and spiritual sovereignty,
Croatia should thus become yet another U.S. colony, "Hrvatski
Vojnik" stated.
